EarthDay!

Saturday, April 18th, 2015 from 9:00am to 7:00pm

About

We welcome everyone who is interested in the Festival Beach Food Forest to come hang out with us at our table and get to know the project better and see if you're interested in contributing your skills and ideas to the project. You may also be able to help the core team members man the table so one of them can walk around and enjoy the event too!

Check out all the details of the Earth Day Festival celebration at the Mueller Hanger on this website: http://earthdayaustin.com/

Setup for EarthDay is 9am to noon this Saturday at the Mueller Park. Even though we won't need but 20 minutes to put everything we have up we are going to be there to hang out with the other vendors. The festival itself goes from 12pm to 6pm.

Hope to see you there!

Great Parking News! Since last year, there has been a 560 car parking garage added, next to the Thinkery! Garage parking will be FREE for festival attendees. The parking garage and Thinkery are located 1 block east of the circle at Aldrich St. (north entrance to the festival grounds).

Bus Options: Capital Metro busses #37 & #350 stop at the hangar!
Austin Earth Day Festival is a DOG FRIENDLY event. Please keep a leash and clean up after your friend!

Planning Your Route to Earth Day
Knowing what route to take is a simple but important part of a safe, fun bike ride. The best route by car might not be the best by bicycle. BikeAustin created this easy-to-use Google map to help you find a safe way to and from Austin Earth Day.

Other notes about finding a route:

Since Mueller Hangar is located off of a busy street, we recommend using: Berkman Drive or 53rd/51st Streets if you’re coming from the North; Cherrywood Road if you’re coming from the South; Rogge Lane or Manor Road if you’re coming from the East; and Wilshire Blvd. if you’re coming from the West.

As an alternative to Google Maps, check out the City of Austin Bike Map.
