About
Join Austin Parks Foundation's Little Hummingbird Society as we give back at Boggy Creek Greenbelt! Austin's Watershed Protection Department has some newly-minted Grow Zones that will be planted with seedlings this winter. But before that happens the site needs to be mulched, and that's where you come in!
Little Hummingbird Society offers kids a great way to learn about giving back to their community and the importance of Austin's parks, trails and green spaces. Parents can have fun with their kids while promoting a healthy lifestyle, volunteerism and advocacy for your youngest park-goers!

Volunteers should dress appropriately for the weather and be prepared to dig in the dirt! Close toed shoes are a must. APF will provide tools, gloves, snacks, and water - PLEASE BRING A REUSABLE WATERBOTTLE TO REDUCE WASTE.
We'll meet along the greenbelt trail just off 12th St. south of Downs-Mabson Field. Thank you so much for serving with us in our parks!
