Pollinator Photography Tips + iNaturalist Basics - Virtual Workshop

Thursday, June 17th, 2021 from 5:00pm to 6:00pm (CT)

About

Join Great River Greening for an early evening presentation to learn how to observe and photograph pollinators and how to record your observations on the iNaturalist platform. Presenters from the University of Minnesota Bee Lab will walk you through tips and tricks to help improve your photography skills, making your observations easier to identify and how to share your observations on iNaturalist.
This workshop will create a foundation for participants to feel comfortable photographing pollinators and utilizing iNaturalist to help monitor bees and other pollinators at upcoming Great River Greening project sites.

If you don't already have an iNaturalist account, please create one prior to this presentation at www.iNaturalist.org

What is iNaturalist?
iNaturalist is a free, open-source, community-science portal that provides a place to record, identify, and organize your nature-based observations. Join the online community today, for free at www.iNaturalist.org. It is a great way to learn more about the natural world around you and share your findings with a community of nature enthusiasts, biologists, and ecologists from around the world.

Access information via Zoom will be shared with registered participants prior to the workshop. This presentation will be recorded.
