Event Details
Lead families through the process of creating a unique dinosaur planter form ferns and toy dinosaurs. You'll get to take one home too! This volunteer opportunity will involve educating the public about ferns and garden membership at our Dino Days event.
This event could involve:
- Demonstrating how to use materials to complete the activity.
- Assisting garden educators and volunteer leaders
- Discussing how ferns reproduce with the public. Information will be sent by email in advance of the event, as well as be on display at the table.
- Discuss the benefits of garden membership with the public, members get in early on member mornings like this one and get guaranteed access to events like this one before supplies run out.
You will be welcomed and supported through the set up process by a volunteer leader. You'll need to check in at the front gate and give your name and that you're here to volunteer for this activity. Gate staff will direct you to volunteer parking, then walk to the auditorium by 8 am to help set up.
