The City of Austin Parks and Recreation Department is seeking stage assistants to work side by side with our event leaders during this summer's Zilker Theatre Production presentation of "The Wizard of Oz".
Duties will include (but are not limited to)
Opening and closing duties of the theater
Lifting fence material
Trash pick up
Assisting partner organization (Zilker Theatre Production) with various back stage tasks
This is a perfect opportunity for anyone 16 and up who are interested in learning theater/event management, meet other performing artists and develop important skills needed in the professional world.

1. Must be comfortable with diverse populations and communities, including public speaking and interacting with individuals of diverse social, cultural, economic and educational backgrounds.
2. Must be able to perform occasional tasks involve bending, lifting, walking, carrying or using a force equal to lifting up to fifty (50) pounds.

|Parking Details||Once your shift has been confirmed, you will be emailed a parking pass, which you will be required to display in your dashboard. With this parking pass you will be able to park anywhere in the park and will not need to pay the $5.00 parking fee.|
