“Portraiture in the Park: Who Are You Anyway!?”

Sunday, September 17th, 2017 from 10:00am to 6:00pm

About

For Austin Museum Day, the Ney will present “Portraiture in the Park: Who Are You Anyway!?”. Through this family event, which is going to take place on the museum's spacious grounds, attendees can explore the meaning of portraiture through experimentation with different media, styles, and definitions.

There will be a ton of booths with interactive demonstrations and artist-led projects. We would love to find volunteers to help oversee the face painting and art activity booths. If you are interested in participating, you can sign up for one of these shifts: 10 am – 2 pm, 2 pm – 6 pm.
