CYD Mentors

Mission: 

Our mentoring program is dedicated to fostering positive relationships, providing guidance, and empowering youth to reach their full potential. By connecting them with caring and trained mentors, we aim to build confidence, enhance life skills, and inspire a sense of purpose.

Program Structure:

• Eligibility: Youth aged 6-17 residing or going to school in Dove Springs (78744)
• Mentor Requirements: Mentors must complete a screening process, attend training, and commit to 5 months (January 2025 - May 2025).
• Frequency of Meetings: Mentors and mentees meet weekly for 1 hour in person.
• Activities: One to Four (1:4) mentor to Mentee ratio
