It was a fun and different way to experience the festival. Only drawback was that festival-wide network problems rendered the digital kiosks unusable numerous times during the shift.
Great way to encourage citizen help with public projects.....and helping beautify communities.
Super fun, well organized! Loved it!
The guides knew what they were talking about, had several years worth of experience and were informative and helpful. They were good at communicating to and teaching the group about the history behind the creek preservation, as well as having knowledge about the current vegetation growing and the impacts on the environment there.
Green zones are BMP for our creeks!
This was a great learning experience! I didn't even know what a grow zone was or that we had so many in the city, but now I know that they are a vitally important part in keeping our water and environment clean and free of pollutants. I really enjoyed learning about these mini wilderness ecosystems in our city and exploring one with the environmental scientists from the City's Watershed Protection Dept.
