This semester, I dedicated my ULN volunteer hours to the Printmaking Department in the Department of Art and Art History, where I spend much of my time as a studio art major. My responsibilities included helping deinstall an exhibition featuring guest artists from Berlin and unframing works of printed matter that were previously on display.

The UT Print Department rented a steamroller for Explore UT. We had a great turnout and printmaking students got to make an edition of large-scale prints on fabric.
I learned about this event through my advisor. I got to help out with the 12th Annual Women & Fair Trade Festival. There were so many hand-made fair trade products for sale and I got to speak with the people who made them. This was an awesome experience and I look forward to going again next year.
This was a very fun event and the weather ended up being perfect for it! I got to serve with three other ULN students. The 5K benefited ZERO Prostate and had a great turn out. Thank you for the bananas! :)
This is the organization I thought about when John discussed serving for something you really care for. Austin Creative Reuse involves two of my biggest passions: art, and earth and sustainability. Today, we made artwork with children out of recycled vinyl and splatter paint. It is fun to see what you can do with things lying around before recycling them, as it is better for the environment.
We got to the church and prepared breakfast for Austin's downtown homeless. It made me so happy to be there and help support this great cause, they were so appreciative and let us know so. Can't wait to go back!
This was such a fun group of people. I loved helping them get ready for their Hill Country ride for AIDS that would take place on Saturday. Lots of dedication to an important cause
It was fun getting to work with my mentor group outside of class. Zilker Park is spotless!
You are so welcome! Thanks for your help, Anna! If you want to volunteer again, please pencil in Jan 16 for the Austin StAR race at Camp Mabry. See deets: www.AustinStAR5k.com
