Overview and Job Description: 
The Village Link is looking for a Financial Analyst to develop a financial model for a social impact business model the organization is currently piloting in rural Sierra Leone. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded performer who thrives in a fast paced and demanding environment, can work independently but embraces a collaborative work style and possesses a clear customer and operations focus. 
Reports to: Director of Development and Programs 
Responsibilities: Produce and manage financial reporting materials used in support of current and future development programs. Prepare monthly detail variance analysis and commentary. Support forecast and budget process. Coordinate with Sierra Leone team on forecast deliverables and reporting. Financial modeling and analysis. 
Qualifications: BA required, BA in Finance or Accounting preferred; Proven analytic ability; (academic achievement or through work history) Operational, Financial or Accounting education and/or experience required Financial systems experience: Advanced Excel required (advanced equations, pivots, etc.), PowerPoint. Highly motivated and self-directed; exhibits thought leadership and strong critical thinking skills Excellent communication and influencing skills. The purpose of this role is to help TVL understand if its social impact model pilot can become sustainable and to provide recommendations as needed.
