United Cerebral Palsy of Long Island is committed to advancing the independence, productivity and full citizenship of people with disabilities. Their mission is to provide life skills training, education, advocacy, meaningful employment and a place to call home for Long Islanders with a wide range of disabilities. 

Positions Include:

Storytelling: Read a book or share a story

Gardening: Help residents prepare a flower, herb, or vegetable garden

Helping at Events: Help with registration or setting up for one of UCP’s special events

Arts and Crafts: Share your techniques and talents with program participants

Administrative Work: Help with photocopying, shredding, filing and other clerical duties
