LWV-NETN is recruiting volunteer(s) to develop and expand the reach of our organization. This volunteer project may include selected parts of the following: developing a plan for a presence on Instagram; creating and posting approved messages and graphics related to the mission of the organization on social media; researching background and creating video clips that can be used for public outreach; and/or developing strategies to enhance public participation in constructive civic engagement. Required skills include verbal and technology-related communication; the ability to work independently and complete work in a timely way; familiarity with use of social media; marketing; and creating video clips for public review. Guidance in nonpartisanship and LWV-NETN communication strategy will be provided. Occasional meetings in Johnson City TN may be required, but a significant part of the volunteer project can be accomplished remotely. The exact dates and hours of this project are negotiable and can be individualized. The LWV-NETN's mission is "Defending Democracy. Empowering Voters." That mission and LWV-NETN's strong nonpartisan principles will govern all efforts.
Skills needed will vary depending on the nature of the project selected, but might include:
