Youth Friday Night Recreation Programs at the BG Community Center (Parents' Night Out & First Friday Frenzy)

 Parents' Night Out is a popular fun and exciting program for youth.  It is an opportunity where parents looking for a fun night out without the kids get an assist from the Bowling Green Community Center.

These programs will be an opportunity for parents to drop their kids off at the Bowling Green Community Center while they get some time to themselves.  Children ages 5 to 12 are invited to join us at the Community Center for a fun Friday night of activities including games, arts & crafts, gym time, and our very popular Freedom Climber rotating climbing wall.  The program runs throughout the whole school year but the upcoming dates for the Fall/Winter 2026 season that we are seeking help on are listed below:

Friday, September 25, 2026   4:45pm-9:15pm

Friday,October 16, 2026  4:45pm-9:15pm

Friday November 3, 2026  4:45pm-9:15pm

Friday, December 18. 2026   4:45pm-=9:15pm

Each shift would run 4:45pm to 9:15pm on the dates listed.   Interested individuals will have to complete a background check before being approved, should be good with kids, and come ready to be an active participant and help lead activities..   

New in Fall 2026.   We also have a new similar program that is a spin off of Parents' Night Out for slightly older kids.   First Friday Frenzy is for children ages 11 to 14 years of age and will take place at the Community Center on the first Friday of each month..   The event will consist of a series of competitive activities and skills contests in the gymnasium and game room.  The dates for these events are as follows:
