About

Welcome to the Zilker Botanical Garden Programs & Events Volunteer page! Programs & Events Volunteers help bring the Garden to life by supporting a variety of educational, arts, and wellness programs throughout the year. Volunteer opportunities may include assisting with classes, workshops, special events, family activities, wellness programs, arts experiences, event setup and cleanup, guest support, and other event-related tasks. No prior experience is necessary - just a positive attitude and a willingness to help create meaningful experiences for our visitors!

Volunteer opportunities vary throughout the year based on the Garden’s programming schedule. Please be sure to sign up at least 24 hours before each opportunity, so staff can plan accordingly. Any materials needed for your volunteer role will be provided unless otherwise specified. More information about dress code, parking, and other volunteer requirements can be found under the “Documents” tab above or within each volunteer opportunity listing.
